Tech Sales Consultant


What you will do

As the Tech Sales Consultant , you will be expected to:

Full Time with three months’ probation – Resumption: 9am – 5pm GMT


-        Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering from a reputable Federal University

-        Master’s degree would be preferred

-        Professional training or certification in IT, project management, agile, security, data or cloud i.e. PRINCE 2, PMP, ITIL, Scrum etc.

-        Must have worked for about 4 – 7 years in IT, Telecoms, Commercial Bank or oil and gas in Nigeria

-        Must have managed an OEM corporate/enterprise account

-        Initiate sales ground up and close it successfully (pre-sales – sales – post-sales)

-        Create dashboards and periodic sales report

-        Excellent proficiency in webex, zoom, teams, skype, MS outlook, PowerPoint, Excel

-        Must be comfortable to contribute to technical conversations

-        Develop proposals and presentations


-        4% commission on every individual/group/corporate training net sales  

-        1.25% commission on vendor product net sales

-        2% commission on agile transformation consulting net sales 

-        Yearly salary increase when all targets are met

-        Fully paid recommended training and certification

-        Discount on on-demand training and certifications offered by the company


-        Monthly: Minimum of 5 Agile/Scrum/SAFe training based on training schedule

-        Quarterly: Vendor product sales of $15,000 gross

-        Quarterly: One resource placement (Agile Project Manager, Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Business Analyst, Cloud Engineer, Product Owner and Project Manager)

-        Bi-yearly: Team or enterprise base agile transformation consulting   

-        Daily: Keep all your lines of communications open and active such as but not limited to email, phone calls, text and chat while abreast of US Central Time zone.

Job Description

-        Establish new business relationships and maintain the relationship

-        Drive sales and marketing daily, weekly, quarterly and yearly and strive to meet all targets

-        Facilitate meetings, presentations and technical discussions

-        Develop proposals for target markets; corporate and individual clients

-        Follow up with customers until deal closure

-        Proactively network with the right professionals & strategically socialize to gain business advantage

-        Create weekly market plan and report

-        Explain training/certification benefits

-        Continuously research about competitors prices and use same to advise on benchmark price

-        Develop/create invoice, PO, MOU and SOW  

-        Suggest corporate partnerships that will create new line of business or enhance existing ones

-        Plan both virtual and on-site workshop, conference, webinar events

-        Suggest advertising contents for digital platforms in order to drive sales

-        Identify strategic areas and the complementing/ appropriate type of marketing
