Scrum was first introduced by Dr Jeff Sutherland in 1993 at Easel Corporation, drawing on research by Hirotaka Takeuchi and Ikujiro Nonaka, and presented with Ken Schwaber at OOPSLA in 1995. Sutherland and Schwaber are Scrum’s two co-creators.
